What is iLipo?
iLipo is a revolutionary body contouring treatment that delivers amazing results in eliminating hard-to-shift fat pockets. It’s gentle, non-invasive and completely safe.
Also known as laser lipo or liposculpture, this procedure uses specialised laser technology to stimulate the body’s natural processes for mobilising the release of fat from cells.
iLipo involves no surgery, no needles, no anaesthesia and no recovery time – so you can carry on with your day immediately after treatment.
Who is it for?
Laser fat removal treatments are in high demand, with women and men of all ages looking to shift stubborn bulges without invasive surgical procedures (such as traditional lipo).
Aging slows down the metabolism, making it increasingly difficult to lose fat pockets through exercise and diet alone. iLipo offers
an effective solution to this problem, working alongside a healthy lifestyle to deliver excellent results.
How Does Laser Lipo Work?
iLipo is administered via small paddles placed of the target area. These emit low (and safe) levels of electromagnetic radiation, sending a signal to fat cells to break down stored triglycerides into free fatty acids and glycerol.
This enables fat stores to be eliminated from the body. The fat cells are not destroyed in this process; they simply become smaller, with visible results.
This process of cells releasing stored fat is known as lipolysis, and is the body’s natural response to activities such as exercise and fasting.
Laser lipolysis can be thought of simply as stimulating the body’s inbuilt mechanisms for working with stored fat in a controlled, targeted manner.
How Long Does It Take?
A session takes approximately 30 minutes. For best results, we recommend a course of 6-8 sessions per area. Sessions should be spaced over 3-4 week period, with 2 sessions per week. Generally, clients will begin to see results after just one treatment.
The procedure is painless – the most you will feel is a warming sensation. Your skin will become slightly red and warm for about an hour after each treatment.
There are no known side effects associated with laser lipo, with independent clinical studies having shown that the process does not cause any form of damage to the body.
