LED Light Therapy

A non-invasive, pain-free process to help heal the skin. There are two different treatments we offer depending on the clients need. Red light is primarily for anti-ageing, whereas blue light is primarily for acne treatment.

This treatment is great for anyone looking to rejuvenate their skin and improve their complexion, and can conjunctively have a microdermabrasion treatment for maximum results.

Red Light: Anyone that wants to build and increase collagen production. Improves skin strength, elasticity and plumpness and helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Helps to minimise age spots. Assists with tightening and firming the skin.

Blue Light: To help treat mild to moderate acne and any wounds or scars caused by acne. It can also be used to help treat breakouts and even out the skins texture.

Both treatments will leave the skin feeling and looking softer, healthier and brighter whilst injecting some life back into dull appearing skin.

The LED therapy works by exposing your skin cells, mitochondria, to soak up the light and create more energy, allowing to the cells to repair themselves.

Red Light Therapy: Works when your skin absorbs the wavelengths of the light to stimulate the collagen and elasticity production.

Blue Light Therapy: Works by reducing sebaceous hyperplasia, enlarged oil glands, so that they produce less oil. It can also kill bacteria known as cutibacterium.

Red Light Therapy: For maximum results, weekly for 8 weeks.

Blue Light Therapy: For acne treatment 2 times a week for 6 weeks.

For evening up skin tone, dullness or minor abrasions weekly for 4-6 weeks.

For both treatments most clients need a 20 minute session.

Primarily, both lights are best for facial treatment, however any acne on the back or chest can also be treated.
